What we do

From 5k to all day – we’ve got a running tour for you! Whether it’s one of our events or on a bespoke tour of your own you can discover distilleries, conquer hills, tame the trails, cruise the coast and view the vistas. We will introduce the trails of Speyside to all levels of runner so, whether you are a park-runner or a trail-pro, you can RunSpeyside! Grab your running shoes and join us for a unique view of Whisky Country and the Moray Coast.

Running Tours

Our Running Tours take you on a unique sight seeing tour – don’t just see the sights, run them! Runs start at 5km and are social, aimed at all abilities and there’ll be plenty of stops for photos. Ideal for couples, groups and individuals. Many of our routes can be combined with whisky or beer tasting or coffee and cake.


Trail Running Adventures

Trail Running Adventures cater for those who want to make the most of their run in Moray Speyside – hand picked trails, interesting sights and unique places. Expect these routes to have longer sections of sociably paced running; more mountains, woods, coast and river for your buck. Routes vary from 8 to 30km.


Trail Skills Sessions

Trail skills session

These Trail Skills Sessions are aimed at all abilities of runner especially those either returning or just starting out – if you are completing your local parkrun, are well on your way from Couch to 5km or part of a JogScotland group then this is for you. We aim to widen your horizons of where your running can take you! Each 1-1.5 hour session will be slightly different and explore different trails.

Our featured runs are available at a time and place to suit you, just contact us to book. We can offer tailored runs throughout the area – see Even More Runs!

Rome was built on seven hills, Dufftown stands on seven stills - An exploration of the whisky town Dufftown. Sample the finished product at Glenfiddich Distillery!
From the iconic Telford Bridge a run along the Spey before returning on trails in the countryside behind Aberlour - A delightful and exhilarating run through the Speyside landscape.
Fancy a wee taste of the Trails - these shorter routes are perfect for you!
Fochabers offers endless routes - forest, river, stately homes and hill top follies.
Superb coastal running - cliffs, beaches, harbours and rock arches.
Starting in Glenlivet and ascending Carn Daimh this run gives great views of Speyside and the Cairngorms.
Explore illicit whisky still country, and visit where the "heather priests" were trained! A historic and scenically wonderful run!
Our featured runs only touch the surface of the terrain we know. How about taking the train or bus and running point to point through Strathspey or along the Moray coast. We can tailor runs to suit you!
Speyside is closely associated with whisky production and the many distilleries form a backdrop to several of our tours. Events like the Spirit of Speyside Festival and the Dramathon celebrate this link and RunSpeyside provide special tours for visitors.
