Before taking part in a RunSpeyside tour all runners must read and agree with the following terms and conditions.
If you are making the booking you are responsible for providing accurate information for yourself and if applicable all members of your group. You confirm you have their permission to book and that all persons in your group are aware of and agree to these terms and conditions.
When you take part in a RunSpeyside tour you are responsible for yourself and take part at your own risk. You agree that no person(s) or organisation(s) will be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to yourself as a result of participating in the tour. We strongly recommend you take out personal insurance that covers trail running within the policy.
You confirm that you are 18 years old or over on the day of the tour, and that you are sufficiently fit and healthy for your selected tour. All tours will involve strenuous physical activity.
You will inform RunSpeyside of any relevant health implications that may affect you during a tour and you will ensure that you bring any required medication with you.
You are aware of the inherent risks of a running tour, which include but are not limited to falling, uneven terrain, traffic, adverse weather, road conditions, animals, livestock and other physical injury. You agree that RunSpeyside is not responsible for these risks.
You agree to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code i.e. respect the interests of other people (e.g. other trail users ), care for the environment, and take responsibility for your own actions.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and trail conditions, that you are adequately hydrated, nourished and warmed up prior to and during your tour. You must inform your guide if you need to stop for a rest, slow the pace or retire from the tour. Please also ensure you have adequate warm clothing for after the run.
You must be aware that there will be vehicular and pedestrian traffic and other hazards which you should negotiate in a safe manner. You agree to follow the guidance of the our guide at all times.
You are solely responsible for any incident, accident or health problem caused by you to others or yourself as a consequence of participating in a RunSpeyside tour. RunSpeyside will not be held liable.
You consent to RunSpeyside taking photos during the tour and that these may be published online and on social media (i.e. runspeyside.co.uk and/or facebook.com/RunSpeyside) and used in anyway RunSpeyside deems fit. You must advise RunSpeyside if you do not want your photograph taken or uploaded to the internet.
You agree that you participate in a RunSpeyside tour of your own freewill.
Should you not be able to take part in your booked tour you may transfer your place provided you advise RunSpeyside and the replacement runner agrees to these terms and conditions and completes the sign-up form.
Tours will be as close as possible to the distance/time advertised however it might not be exact and may depend on factors such as pace and weather conditions.
RunSpeyside does not coach or give fitness instruction.
Dogs – Due to the terrain we cover and to ensure all members of the group feel comfortable RunSpeyside tours are not suitable for dogs and these must not be brought with you.
RunSpeyside cannot be held responsible for the security of any belongings left in cars etc during the tour.
RunSpeyside reserves the right to
- alter any arrangement should circumstances require it
- refuse a participant participation in a tour at any time
- cancel a tour at any time for any reason. In this hopefully unlikely event an alternative date or full refund would be offered
You agree that you understand RunSpeyside’s cancellation policy and that if you cancel then the fees set out in the table below will be payable. The difference if any will be refunded to you.
